The weather has turned warmer since last week and a series of animals has been appearing in the house that I currently live.
At first, there were a few houseflies flying into the house. A few days later, two different housemates saw spiders in two different occasions.
Then, it was cockcroach. Soon after, one of the windows in the house was infested with a bunch of ants carrying away what we believed to be cockroach eggs.
Then yesterday, we saw a rat on the toilet window. WTF?!
My housemate push it down from the ledge to the backyard. This morning while one of my housemate was doing his laundry in the backyard, he saw a small snake.....
Looks hope we will get to see an eagle preying on the snake soon....
Term test week has begun.

wtf?!
I have a habit of just bringing a stack of blank paper to lecture and write down important points and then write them all over again in my lecture notes when I get home to revise. As a result, I have many pieces of paper on my desks and it looks messy. Plus, I don't always have the time to write the notes all over again. Therefore, I decided to try writing the points directly on the lecture notes starting this week.
But shit happens. I lost one damn piece of lecture notes today with all those points inside. I must have left it in the lecture hall somehow.
damn it!
Next week is the mid term test, I better get a copy of the lost lecture notes fast.....

second time...
Today I was having lunch and one of my university mates was saying there is a blood donation drive and I should go along with him.
I have never donated blood before. I tried once when I was in polytechnic but they didnt allow me to donate because I forgot to bring my identification card. Anyway, I agreed and straight after lunch, I went to the blood donation centre.
I filled the form, sat for the interview and then lied on the bed waiting for the nurse to poke a needle into my veins to pump out my precious blood. I felt the needle going through my veins but....
"Oh no, unlucky day" said the nurse
Me: huh??
Nurse: You might not be able to donate your blood today
Me: eh??
The nurse was fiddling with something and then she said "There is not enough blood coming out"
Me: Why?
Nurse: You should hydrate yourself before coming or maybe your veins are born small.
Me: :(
Nurse: You should drink enough water the day before this.
Moral of this story : Drink lots of water the day before you are going to donate your blood!

Semester 2 is starting....
Last semester, I took 2 maths subject and 1 business subject.
I had always been struggling with mathematics since the day I was born. Everybody knows that. So I was pretty fucked up handling 2 maths subjects at the same time. The only thing that was different is that I worked hard for my maths this time round and finally for once in my life, I didnt have to worry about passing my maths after the exams.
That feeling is FUCKING AWESOME.
I had never taken any business subject before in my life so the business subject was a challenge to me as well. Learnt alot from it but I was really worried about the results because I didnt do too well for the finals.
Still, I conquered all three of the subjects.
Semester 2 is starting....
I am going to take 2 engineering subjects and 2 more business courses. I screwed up extremely badly for the 2 engineering subjects when I was in the polytechnic. So this is like a second chance life/God has given me and I am not going to waste this opportunity.
The reason for taking 2 more business courses is because I didnt really do well for the business course and I just want to try it again and taste the feeling of scoring for a business course.

1 year
Last year this time, I left Singapore for good.
Didnt regret the decision but now I realize that Sinagpore is not as f*** up as I thought. I hope to be able visit Singapore again soon.
I miss the roti prata, hokkien mee, laksa, weather and friends.
